Gemnote is a fast-growing, Y Combinator-backed startup that helps companies with all their premium gifting needs. We handle everything from curating and sourcing to wrapping and shipping. Our clients love our full-service gifting platform and they are some of the biggest companies in the world, including Airbnb, Box, Salesforce, Starbucks and more.

We’re looking for an extremely driven Account Executive who is eager to join a lean, highly-productive and motivated team. As one of the first employees, you will be making high-level decisions that drive growth and revenue for Gemnote.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of deal execution via inbound leads and outbound prospecting

  • Identify high-potential prospective clients and grow new revenue from business of all sizes

  • Construct, forecast and track your sales pipeline to meet company goals

  • Understand client needs and help shape product roadmap by surfacing feedback to internal teams

  • Build and maintain relationships with executives, operational teams and developers to drive revenue and increase customer satisfaction

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner

You would be a good fit for this role if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and 2-3 years experience

  • Strong negotiating/closing skills and track record of top performance

  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail

  • Excellent written/verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite

  • Respect for the creative process and a passion for quality products and design

  • Ability to build strong relationships with peers and senior leadership

  • Eager and excellent work ethic appropriate for a fast-paced, growing startup

  • Ability to work flexible hours of operation to support customer needs
